DD # 1 in the garden last night. What a delightful time the two of us are having together. DD#2 is out of town for the week. It's amazing how the dynamic changes when there is no sibling rivalry.
We have big plans today which may include any or all of the following: movies or bowling with a friend, scrapbooking with friends & summer arts festival.
Had a great time with a friend yesterday scrapbooking which I haven't done in forever! I'd forgotten how much fun it was to spend time with friends reflecting on your thoughts about your children, your life and your world and mixing it all together with creative expression. I am so lucky to have many friends with such talent and passion for life and art.
My lastest SB project chronicles my mission trip to Manzanillo, Mexico. I fell in love with the people there and can't wait to go back someday. Here is pic of the ladies that are part of our sister church, La Esperanza de Manzanillo.
We visited their store in the market. We have so much to be thankful for as US citizens. We sit in our gigantic air conditioned homes completely insulated from the world around us. I am reminded that for those who are given much, much is expected.
